Privacy Policy & App Terms

Last updated: October 16, 2026 • Effective for all users of reelHola Player IPTV applications, website, and associated services.

Our Privacy & Transparency Commitment

At reelHola Player IPTV, we respect and prioritize your fundamental right to privacy. We do not inspect, log, or store your private streaming playlists, we do not access sensitive personal media without explicit permission, and we strictly comply with the Google Play Developer Program Policies, including the Google Play Data Safety standards, Advertising Policy, and Family Policy.

1. Google Play Console Compliance & Data Safety Overview

In strict accordance with the Google Play Console Developer Policies and the Google Play Data Safety section requirements, this policy outlines the data collection, transmission, and processing practices of reelHola Player IPTV:

  • No User Account Required: reelHola Player IPTV does not require you to register an account with our servers to use the core media player functions.
  • No Sensitive Personal Data Collected: We do not collect names, phone numbers, home addresses, government IDs, biometric data, or financial payment information inside the player.
  • Data in Transit Encryption: Any communication between the application and third-party advertising or crash reporting services is encrypted using industry-standard TLS/HTTPS protocols.

2. Advertising & Monetization Disclosures (Google AdMob & Ads)

To support ongoing software development, maintenance, and regular compatibility updates across new Android OS versions, reelHola Player IPTV may display third-party advertisements in full compliance with the Google Play Advertising and Monetization Policy:

Google AdMob & Third-Party Ad Networks

We may integrate the Google Mobile Ads SDK (Google AdMob) and authorized programmatic advertising mediation partners to serve banners, native ads, or rewarded video advertisements:

  • Android Advertising ID (AAID): In accordance with Google Play rules, third-party advertising SDKs may process the user's resettable Android Advertising ID (AAID) to serve contextually relevant advertisements, limit ad frequency, and combat ad fraud.
  • Opt-Out of Personalized Ads: You can reset your Advertising ID or opt out of personalized advertising at any time on your Android device by navigating to: Settings > Google > Ads > Reset advertising ID / Delete advertising ID.
  • Non-Disruptive Ad Placements: We strictly adhere to Google Play ad placement policies. Ads are never placed in a manner that triggers accidental clicks, and interstitials will not interrupt active live streaming playback or cause deceptive navigation.

3. Android Device Permissions & Technical Usage

To provide seamless audio/video streaming, hardware decoding, and playlist management, reelHola Player IPTV requests only essential permissions under the principle of least privilege:

Android Permission Technical Purpose & Google Play Compliance
android.permission.INTERNET Required to connect to user-supplied stream URLs, fetch EPG program data, and load advertisements.
android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE Detects network availability (Wi-Fi vs. Cellular vs. Ethernet) to prevent playback dropouts and adjust buffer sizes.
android.permission.WAKE_LOCK Prevents the television or mobile screen from turning off or going to sleep while video playback is actively ongoing.
FOREGROUND_SERVICE_MEDIA_PLAYBACK Allows continuous, uninterrupted background audio or picture-in-picture (PiP) video playback on Android 14+.
READ_MEDIA_VIDEO / STORAGE Requested only if the user chooses to open a local M3U file, custom channel logo, or local video recording stored on their device.

4. Strictly Empty Player Container (Copyright & Stream Disclaimer)

In compliance with Google Play's Intellectual Property, Deceptive Behavior, and Copyright Policies:

  • Zero Media Bundling: reelHola Player IPTV is strictly an empty media player shell. The application does not contain, bundle, provide, pre-load, or sell any streaming channels, television feeds, playlists, movies, or subscriptions.
  • User-Supplied Content: The user is exclusively responsible for providing their own legal and authorized content via standard media formats (M3U, M3U8, or Xtream Codes API).
  • Zero Credential Interception: Any server URLs, usernames, passwords, or playlist links inputted into reelHola Player IPTV remain strictly stored locally on your device or are communicated directly to your chosen streaming host. We do not transmit or store your credentials on any central server.

5. Analytics & Diagnostics (Crashlytics & App Performance)

To identify app crashes, fix bugs on specific TV hardware chips, and optimize performance:

  • We may use Firebase Crashlytics (provided by Google) to collect non-identifiable technical diagnostic data such as device model, OS version, GPU renderer, and stack trace logs during an unexpected crash.
  • This diagnostic information is processed solely for stability improvements and is never linked to personal identities.

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA & Google Play Families Policy)

reelHola Player IPTV complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play's Families Policy:

  • Our services and applications are not directed to children under the age of 13.
  • We do not knowingly collect or request personal identifiable information from children under 13.
  • The application includes built-in Parental Control PIN locking mechanisms so parents can restrict sensitive channel categories loaded via their playlists.

7. GDPR (EU) & CCPA/CPRA (California) User Rights

Under global privacy laws (including the European General Data Protection Regulation and California Consumer Privacy Act), you retain full rights over your data:

  • Right to Know & Access: You may request disclosure of any personal data processed by our contact systems.
  • Right to Erasure (Right to Be Forgotten): You may request complete deletion of any communications sent to our support desk.
  • Right to Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing: We do not sell or share personal user data.

8. Security Safeguards

We implement robust security standards, including TLS 1.3 cryptographic protection for network communications, app sandboxing, and secure local storage mechanisms to safeguard against unauthorized access.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may periodically update this policy to reflect application enhancements, new Google Play Console regulatory requirements, or adjustments to ad networks. Any updates will be published on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
